Speed executed a PR campaign for Symantec alerting the public to one of the world's fastest growing cyber threats ??? 'Scareware'. The main TV target was BBC news planning who broadcast the story on BBC Breakfast News and other BBC regional TV networks. The PR team also spread the word using supporting multimedia content including YouTube videos and podcasts, as well as integrating with social media networks such as Twitter. Within 24 hours, over 6.9 million knew about the threat through the broadcast coverage alone.
